QUEUE DE CACHALOT

“Queue de cachalot” est une sculpture créée par l’artiste Yann Fustec. Elle mesure 45 x 45 x 45 cm et réalisée en taille directe sur du marbre noir. On peut observer une partie de la queue d’un cachalot modelé parfaitement. On note un fini lisse et brillant sur la quasi-totalité de l’œuvre, une bande de 2 à 10 cm étant laissée de marbre brut. One can see a part of the tail of a sperm whale perfectly shaped with a smooth and glossy finish on almost the entire work, with a band of 2 to 10 cm left in raw marble. This aspect contributes to the elegance of the sculpture as it makes it shiny and attracts the eye. Yann Fustec’s work is once again precise and consistent, making it elegant and delicate. In addition, the artist knows how to arm himself with originality. Indeed, marine animals are less treated in animal art, which brings novelty and makes it possible to remember him.
